Kinship Sessions provides professional audio interview services designed to capture and preserve family stories and memories. Our services include interview sessions, professional editing, and delivery of final recordings in various formats as specified in your selected package.

3. Booking and Payment

• Booking: Submitting a booking request does not guarantee service availability. All bookings are subject to confirmation by Kinship Sessions.
• Payment: Payment terms will be communicated upon booking confirmation. A deposit may be required to secure your interview date.
• Cancellation: Cancellation policies vary by package. Please contact us for specific cancellation terms and any applicable fees.
• Refunds: Refund eligibility depends on the timing of cancellation and services already rendered.

4. Interview Sessions

• Scheduling: Interview sessions will be scheduled at mutually agreed upon times and locations.
• Rescheduling: We understand life happens. Please provide at least 48 hours notice for rescheduling requests.
• Participation: Interview subjects must provide consent to be recorded. For subjects unable to provide consent, appropriate legal authorization must be obtained.

5. Deliverables

• Timeline: Edited interviews are typically delivered within 4-6 weeks of the final session, depending on package and complexity.
• Format: Deliverables will be provided in the formats specified in your selected package.
• Storage: Cloud storage duration varies by package. You are responsible for backing up your files after delivery.
• Revisions: Minor revisions are included. Additional editing beyond the scope of your package may incur extra fees.

6. Intellectual Property

• Your Content: You retain all rights to the stories and content shared during interviews.
• Our Work: Kinship Sessions retains rights to our editing techniques, processes, and branding.
• Portfolio Use: We may request permission to use anonymized excerpts or testimonials for marketing purposes. You may decline without affecting your service.

7. Privacy and Confidentiality

We treat all interview content as confidential. Your family's stories will not be shared without your explicit consent. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we handle your personal information.

8. Limitation of Liability

Kinship Sessions strives to provide the highest quality service. However, we are not liable for:

• Technical issues beyond our reasonable control
• Loss of data after delivery to you
• Content or accuracy of stories shared during interviews
• Indirect or consequential damages arising from use of our services

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will first be addressed through good-faith negotiation. If resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable laws.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
